At the center of the system is a CrossOver 16, 1 MLE production switcher, offering 12 HD/SD Inputs, Internal Multi-Viewer, 2 Channels of 2D DVE, 4 Frame Syncs with Up/Down Conversion for Input or Bus Mode Operation, and 4 Channels of Media Store with 4Gb of Ram Cache.
Also included is a SoftMetal Server with 1 Channel of Record and 2 Channels of Playout for content playback and program recording at the same time. SoftMetal offers the industry's largest software based codec support allowing users to receive their file-based content in and out in any desired format. Embedded Audio support for all 16 channels as well as AES discrete audio is available for both Ingest and Playout channels. The ability to playback with embedded and AES simultaneously is available.
Finally, an XPression Live CG software option for CrossOver is included in this package. XPression allows the user to run the XPression software on a PC (Windows XP or Windows 7 and an Nvidia graphics card) to create compelling 3D graphics with support for all industry leading graphic formats. Create and apply your look from a familiar rundown based sequencer and render directly over the network to the CrossOver Media Store channels without requiring SDI inputs on CrossOver. With CrossOver's 4 Media Store Channels, XPression Live CG is your 2 Channel Still-Only CG with external data source support using DataLinq.
