ON SET MOTION CAPTURE:
On set motion capture is the process of capturing the actor’s motion while shooting him (her) on set. This is usually used for special effects shots, enabling for example to easily add tattoos, limbs and so on to the featured actor. This can involve a combination of matchmoving (i.e. computing the 3D camera path) and motion capture at the same time, if one or more of the cameras are moving.
